CES Desert™ Desiccant Dryers
CES has developed the series of Desert™ Desiccant
Dryers. Energy efficient, reliable, state-of-the-art dryers for
plant air applications.
Today’s budgets require energy efficient operation. The
CES Heated Blower Purge Desiccant Dryer is a great option. Blower
purge regenerative compressed air dryers are normally used for
drying large volumes of air. They are one of the most economical
and efficient dryers to operate as there is no purge air loss
during blower regeneration. Desert™ blower purge dryers
supplement the drying action of purge air with heat. The purge
air is ambient air supplied by an electric blower.
Another option in the CES series of Desert™ Desiccant Dryers
is a Heat-of-Compression Air Dryer. The heat-of-compression air
dryer captures the wasted energy produced by your air compressor.
The CES heat-of-compression air dryer reduces production costs
and is energy efficient. This energy efficient system not only
uses heat-of-compression, but also produces extremely low dew
points. One important feature of the heat-of-compression air dryer
is that it utilizes an aftercooler to cool the air. The hot air
cycles through to the regenerating tower and into the aftercooler,
eliminating the cost of drying air. CES Desert™ heat-of-compression
air dryer cuts operating costs, regenerates “free”
heat from the air produced by your air compressors, and minimizes
potential wear and tear on your compressors. The heat-of-compression
air dryer has the lowest operating cost of all dryers.
Both of the dryers in the CES Series of Desert™ Desiccant
Dryers provide energy efficient controls that can further reduce
the dryers cost of operating. Controls reduce cycling frequency
and provide a quick payback of the initial cost.
